Al Jazariyyah

The book of Matan Jazariyyah was written by Shaykh Ibn al-Jazari. His full name is Abu al-Khair Syamsuddin Muhammadd bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Yusuf al-Jazari as-Shafiʻi. He is better known as Shaykh Syamsuddin or simply called Ibn al-Jazari. The book of Matan al-Jazariyyah consists of three subjects including:

Makharij al-ḥuruf, Characteristics of letters, and Tafkhim and tarqỉq. These three points of discussion are emphasized in the discussion of translated books which are used as guidelines by students in learning Al-Qur'an. As in general, Tajweed science books, the book also contains discussions such as; discussion of the letters Lam, Idgham Mutamảtsilain wa Mutajảnisain, the law of Nun sảkinah wa tanwin, various kinds of Madd, discussion of Waqaf wa Ibtidả ', and discussion of Maqhtu' wa Maushul.
