Here we meet again at the 13th Ramadan Forum, I am pleased to welcome the eminent scholars and preachers who come bearing the burden of travel to present the true message of Islam and its tolerance here in the land of tolerance, the United Arab Emirates.

I would like to acknowledge the effort exerted by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in organising this forum and doing whatever is necessary to make successful in a way that befits the status of such an event.

I hereby confirm, after it became an established event among the activities in the holy month of Ramadan, that this forum is one of the most frequented events by people wishing to benefit and learn. This continuation of the event is based on the great success achieved in previous years, which is aligned with the success of Dubai in various fields of commerce, economy, culture and tourism under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah protect him.

I would like to point out that Dubai has reached to a level of development that makes a lot of countries around the world look at us as a role model. This brings us all to bear the responsibility of maintaining this level of development, and further encourages us to continue giving, considering the saying of Father Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, “Success has no boundaries”.

Therefore we are going on our journey and Allah willing we will not stop until we achieve our goals and consolidate the foundations of our growth, wishing that this Ramadan Forum meets the aspirations of those who are in charge of it.
