Why are we doing this?

Because we want to see you smile.

Because it helps you focus your own ideas on your photos and what you want to do with it.

The pictures can be small or large, a personal introduction to your life or a blog assignment, a manifesto for the future or a simple description of your types of things you hope to publish.

Here are some questions to help you get started:

What do you want to publish instead of keeping yourself personal?

What topics do you think you will publish photos about?

Who would you love to connect with via your album?

If your photo album appreciated next year, what would you hope to accomplish?

You have not locked yourself in any of these; One of the wonderful things about image albums is how they are constantly evolving as we learn, grow and interact with each other - but it's good to know where and why you started, and formulating your goals can only give you some other post ideas.

Can't you think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops up in your head. Anders Petersen, a photograph of the exhibition we love, says that you must give yourself permission to build a "very first photo album". Andres makes a good point - just start collecting photos and worry about editing them later.
