AlienScape

AlienScape is an old school shooter (a mix of space invaders, galaxians and the like) with a progressively hard level system that should keep you coming back to beat your hiscore! Plenty of aliens to trump and destroy with added powerups to find that boost your laser and shield. For total destruction, find a massive SMARTBOMB and put pay to their advance - for a short while...

How to play:

Save the procedurally generated planets by destroying the alien hordes. The more aliens you destroy, the more planets you will visit. Simply hold your finger on the bottom of the screen to move your ship there. Lift your finger to fire or rapid tap to fire a volley. You start against limited-intelligence aliens and saucers but as you progress you will meet diving aliens and also swarmer-type pods that live inside other aliens. These are worth higher points but are harder to destroy. Also beware - if an alien lands on the planet, the population decreases and you'll lose points!!

During your space voyage you will encounter various power ups. Shoot a yellow shield as soon as it appears to withstand 3 hits. You can add shields by shooting more powerups, with a maximum of 10 shields allowed at any one time. Each time you are hit by an alien bomb (or indeed an alien), the shields will decrease by 1.

Powerups:

The green and blue/purple power ups will give you the ability to fire more 3 or 5 bullets at one time. (hint - very useful!!)

If you see a white smartbomb - try to shoot it! This will blow up all aliens, all their bullets and give you credit for any powerups caught in the blast!

NOTE: powerups can kill/decrease your shield if you hit them so shoot or avoid at all costs.
