Application dedicated to mental disability
For patients with schizophrenia, brain dysfunction causes cognitive impairment that hinders its functioning in daily and professional activities.
The Alix & Moi application provides access to a new brain training method developed as part of a research program at the Le Vinatier hospital in Lyon, in partnership with PULSALYS.
Alix & me offers you:
- to identify the areas in which you want to progress (life
social, hygiene and health, professional life, domestic organization ...),
- to train yourself to mentally carry out simple actions of life
daily, in order to activate the neural networks that will be used in reality,
- a challenge per week, consisting of different trainings for which you will receive a reminder as wanted via the notifications of your phone.
- to progress in various fields, seeking to collect all
the trophies of the application.
The principle of the application is simple: to achieve the goal you have selected, gestures are offered to you, in the form of drawings; it's up to you to decide whether they'll be useful or not for doing the action.
ITS STRONG POINTS
- Specificity: the training is based on the understanding of the neuropsychological processes and dysfunctions known in schizophrenia.
- Contextualization: the training must be done just before the realization of an activity.
- Personalization: The goal of Alix & Me is to go in the direction of what is important to you and what you would like to remember from you later.
