Not many people know and know the name of Subakir Sheikh. Though Sheikh Subakir was one of the first period of the Wali Songo clerics sent by the caliph of the Ottoman Turkish Sultanate of Sultan Muhammad I to spread Islam in the archipelago.

Shaykh Subakir is said to have been a great scholar who had crushed Javanese land from the negative influence of spirits at the beginning of the spread of Islamic teachings in the archipelago.
