Amber

Amber is a social networking app that aims to complement classic social networks by aiding the encounter between people with similar interests.

Starting from the idea that "socialization" is a process that can only take place face to face, Amber allows users to create events to which others can participate. As an event creator, a user can choose the event's location from nearby venues or points of interests, specify a start date, as well as an end date and a description of the event.

As a participant in an event, an Amber user will receive a personalized list of events to which he can participate, filtered by his / her interests, user-to-event distance and user availability, considering that a user can participate in multiple events.
