You can use this application only after registering on the Design Interface (app.data.aosz.hu) and then creating a user profile!

The DATA mobile app and its associated Web Design Interface can help people with autism with their daily lives, activities, job placement, learning, with the help of one or more supporting partners. The application can help you to adapt to individual needs in a better and more predictable time schedule, to perform everyday activities as independently as possible, and to use various services as easily as possible. To do this, you can create personalized agendas, flowcharts, video models, and attach various functions to them, such as a timer, reminder, or emotional thermometer.

The main advantages of the support provided on the mobile device are that it is always at hand, it fits in a small space, its content can be modified, it can be adapted to individual needs and life situations. The software system can be a useful tool for both children and adults, as well as people with autism with different abilities. Advocacy and human rights considerations as well as autism-specific, scientifically based methodological knowledge played an important role in the design and development of the DATA system.

The DATA system consists of 2 main parts, its operation requires the use of both:

• an application running on mobile devices (smartphone and tablet), this is what you can download here,

• Design Interface available from an Internet browser, which you can find at app.data.aosz.hu.

Content (images, text, videos, sounds) that you want to display later in the application can be created and edited in the Design Interface. You can also migrate and further edit content from the Design Community community repository, and share your own content with the entire community or other users. The content created in the Design Interface is downloaded to the mobile device via an Internet connection. After that, these contents can be used offline (without an internet connection) in the application, ie the use of the application does not require continuous internet access. In order to understand the operation of the DATA system and to master its use, detailed technical and methodological guidelines have been prepared, which are available in the DATA Design Interface under the menu item “Knowledge Base”.

The DATA system (mobile application and web design interface) was developed in cooperation with the National Association of Autists (AOSZ) and the DATA professional working group of the Faculty of Special Education of Gusztáv Bárczi, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE BGGYK) with the identification number “DATA : Supporting Digital Autonomy on the Autism Spectrum ”project. The system was developed between 2017 and 2021, taking into account user feedback from several test versions.
