APPAGA technological proposal is a mobile application that seeks to contribute to environmental awareness on the rational use of electricity in the academic community of the University of Nariño.

Seeking help from technology awareness against the misuse of energy resources today, coupled with the increasing use of technology, the latter by the levels of electricity consumption demand has been replanted in the objective and the role that ICT can have in the environmental field.

The mobile application has five basic features:

Events - The application allows consulting and keep users informed of environmental activities and campaigns that are organized at the University of Nariño promoting their participation.

Consumption - The app has a Stand by consumption calculator that lets us know how much energy we waste taking into account the electronic elements often present in classrooms, laboratories and offices.

Test - The application has a module to measure and implement the level of awareness against environmental issues in a fun way. In addition it allows users to brief surveys.

Tips - The application provides a series of practical environmental tips that allow you to make savings and efficient energy consumption.

Learn - This module is divided into topics related to energy efficiency also allows to know some initiatives against the efficient use of energy developed at the University of Nariño.
