This Ar-Risale book is the work of the high priest, Asy-Shafi'i. Suffice it for Asy-Syafi'i to be praised because his name is Asy-Syafi'i. It is enough that this Ar-Risalah is respectable because it is the work of Ash-Syaf'i, and it is enough for me to feel proud because I can spread Ash-Syaf'i's knowledge among the people.

"On condition, we are obliged to inform them (read: people) about the prohibition of Ash-Shafi'i to obey him and to other scholars."

If a cleric is allowed to follow other clerics, then in my opinion the most appropriate is Ash-Shaf'i, because I am sure without exaggeration that this figure has no equal among Islamic scholars in terms of his understanding of the Book and Sunnah, the sharpness of his views on both, and due diligence istinbath law). Besides that, he has strong instincts, the light of bashirah (eyes of the heart), and creativity in upholding arguments and silencing his dialog partners. He was also a person who was fluent in the language, the statement made clear, and was on the highest peak of balaghah (beauty of language).
