Use the "video", "image", "audio" or "book" icon to open the page for working with the appropriate media type. Then use the "search" icon to display the search dialog.

You can use more search criteria, and review each result. If you find an item relevant to you, then hit the nearby white star for turning it in blue (this way the item is added to your Favorites List).

Hit a title to open the related online media file (detail view). Use the "pencil" icon to add a personal note to the item currently opened in the detail view.

Use the "buddy" icon in the detail view to add the current item's author to your Short List. Hit the "buddy" icon on the Search pane for opening your Short List - the selected author's ID is copied and pasted into the form.

The app is managing a Favorites List, which can be saved, restored, exported as a TSV file readable by your Office solution as a data sheet, or alternatively exported as a HTML file.

Use the "gear" icon to open the secondary menu, and from there hit the "flag" icon for language selection (the user interface can be set to English or Spanish or Romanian). The secondary menu contains the icons for saving, restoring and exporting your Favorites List.

The Favorites list is limited to 100 items, the Short List is storing the latest 50 selections, and the personal notes can include up to 140 characters.
