ISPG 2017

The 25th World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG) will be held October 13 – 17, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. WCPG is taking place at an exciting time in the field of mental health research when an increasing number of genetic risk factors for psychiatric disorders are being identified, diagnostic boundaries and criteria are being re-evaluated and new ways to integrate the underlying biology with clinical diagnosis are being sought. This congress aims to expand the discipline of psychiatric genetics to encompass all researchers whose work in neuroscience, neurobiology and genetics has future implications for developing new treatments for people with major mental illness. Scientists from all over the world will again come together for this five-day conference to share their expertise, research findings and personal experiences with the goal of improving the quality of life for those living with psychiatric disorders.
