It’s been a year or two since Turtle Beach released a brand new entry into its Stealth product line, and while the budget-friendly options on the market still perform pretty well, it’s time for something a little higher-end. The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is the company’s new top-of-the-line product, with active noise canceling (ANC), Bluetooth, hot-swappable batteries, and more.

The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is a wireless gaming headset that incorporates a lot of design aspects you may find in older headsets, like the Elite Pro 2, but with an updated look and functionality. Gone is the embedded microphone and all-plastic design of products like the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX. Instead you get a large headset with a frame made of metal and plastic that’s notably heavier than most gaming headsets.

Despite its weight, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is very comfortable. The headband is tight, but just enough to feel secure, and the leatherette-covered memory foam ear pads are very thick, which makes getting a decent seal around your ear easy. The headphone hinges swivel and tilt, so there’s lots of room for finding just the right fit. I can wear this headset for a few hours without issue.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen the rise of halo-tier gaming headsets – feature-rich cans that aim to deliver cutting-edge technology and top-tier sound quality no matter what you may be listening to. They make up some of the best gaming headsets on the market and often have prices to match, and Turtle Beach has been taking notes. With the Stealth Pro, it’s delivered what’s easily the company’s best and most expensive ($329) headset yet, and if there’s a killer feature you’ve seen on the competition, there’s a good chance you’ll find it here too. You’ll have to dig deep in your pockets to pick one up for yourself, but if you demand the best, this is one of the best gaming headsets you can buy today.

A high-end wireless headset with great sound

As you might expect of Turtle Beach's flagship wireless gaming headset, the Stealth Pro features fantastic sound, Bluetooth connectivity, active noise cancellation (ANC), great build quality, and swappable batteries. It's easy to recommend on those qualities alone, but it omits an important feature that would further help justify its $329.99 price: spatial audio. Unless you use a PlayStation 5 or bring a separate simulated surround sound system to the table, the Stealth Pro is a strictly stereo headset. Still, it's worth considering if you want a gaming headset that doubles as a pair of comfortable headphones with excellent sound quality.
