APP ATEX of Palazzoli is a first approach to the division into zones of areas where explosive atmospheres produced by dust (cloud or layers), flammable gases and vapors can be formed. Atmospheres that could potentially occur in companies that use materials and substances that intervene within the production processes or that are released as a result of this process. As required by the European standard CEI EN 60079-10-1 and 2, an opinion by an expert should be requested for the assessment of a place with explosion hazard.

In any case, the application allows you to give a name to the dangerous area (ATEX classification) and to determine the limit (dangerous distance) within which you must use electrical components constructed with suitable means of protection.
