​Averto is a crowd-sourced situational awareness app providing real-time information that safeguards people facing life threatening dangers in countries with instability, on-going conflict, and civil unrest.

Averto brings clarity to the chaos civilians face every day in conflict zones by allowing users to report what is happening around them and to view these reports on a shared live map. Our system combines in-country community moderators with credibility statistics based on user validation through anonymous voting on reports.
