BadCode

BadCode allows you to use damaged barcodes, avoiding having to enter them manually. It is especially useful for delivery people, cashiers, and anyone else who regularly works with barcodes.

In many cases the barcodes on packages and documents are damaged or misplaced, and so conventional barcode readers are not able to read them. In these cases, there is no other choice but to type the entire code by hand, which is time consuming and can cause errors. BadCode serves to solve this problem.

BadCode can read the digits that come with the barcode and display a new error-free barcode on the screen that any reader is able to easily read. In the case of a badly damaged code, which cannot be completely redone, it can rebuild a part so that you do not have to type it whole. It also allows you to manually enter the digits to create a new barcode.

BadCode automatically detects the format of the barcode, but also allows you to choose one among all the available ones. It works with the main formats, such as AZTEC, CODABAR, CODE 39, CODE 128, DATA MATRIX, EAN 8, EAN 13, PDF 417, QR, UPC A, UPC E.

It also has a history where the last read codes are saved. There they can be consulted, deleted, edited, and re-read.
