Education is one aspect that has been impacted by the pandemic, such as the loss of knowledge and skills (learning loss) and educational gaps experienced by students. Based on these conditions, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology released the Independent Curriculum as an effort to restore the learning conditions of students in Indonesia. The Merdeka Curriculum is designed as a more flexible curriculum framework. This means that this curriculum provides space for each individual to develop their own potential.

The English for Nusantara Class VII book aims to provide opportunities for students at junior high school level, especially Class 7, to explore English at an early stage. This book presents various activities that students can do to explore the use of English in accordance with the contexts that teenage students usually encounter. In this book, students are exposed to characters and illustrations that are closely related to the world of teenagers as well as the simple use of English in various contexts such as home and school environments.

It is hoped that the Student Book can provide motivation to learn English in a friendly way for students through the topics, illustrations and characters displayed. Through this book, students are expected to have the opportunity to explore English.

Hopefully this application can be useful and become a loyal friend in the teaching and learning process at all times.
