Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared here to save mankind from trials and troubles of Kali Yuga. Hence the place has also got the name Kaliyuga Vaikuntham and Lord here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam.

Venkateshwara is Hindu god Vishnu. Chanting or Listening the name of the Venkatesha will destroys sins of his devotees. Venkateswara literally means "Lord of Venkata".The word is a combination of the words Venkata (the name of a hill in Andhra Pradesh) and isvara ("Lord").

According to the Brahmanda and Bhavishyottara Puranas, the word "Venkata" means "destroyer of sins", deriving from the Sanskrit words vem (sins) and kata (power of immunity).

This mantra can significantly enhance the strength of the body and mind. It increases confidence and concentration leading man towards success in all walks of life. This mantra can help protect the individual from all negative forces and bestow positivity in life.
