The main categories are:

PROJECT: In this section, we present interesting, extraordinary, successful renovation projects, from the farm and the Gründerzeit villa over the prefabricated building to the office building of the 50s, from the professional restoration over new concepts of use to cautious additions.

TECHNOLOGY: Here concepts, techniques, building materials and procedures are presented, which are used in the repair of the building stock. Also questions of the energy saving in the stock and the sustainability of rehabilitation concepts are treated in this category.

MONUMENT CARE: Historic preservation is old building renovation plus! The special rules and requirements for the repair of listed buildings are shown in the articles in this section. Modern methods and old craft techniques are explained and presented in selected object reports.

WTA REVIEWED: The authorized contributions of the Scientific and Technical Association for Building Preservation and Historic Preservation (WTA), which is a merger of leading experts from science / research and practice, regularly provide valuable insights for the construction industry. In a separate section they present brand new expertise from their work.
