Beacon Wizard

Beacon Wizard can:

- Detect nearby iBeacons that advertise a name

- Change beacon identifying information

- Change the transmission power and broadcasting interval of a nearby beacon

- Advertise iBeacons for test purposes

- Acts as a utility in support of adding beacons to your FutureOrb® account

How to use:

To configure a beacon, simply find the beacon in the list of nearby beacons, select it, and press the connect button. If the beacon is from a known beacon vendor, you can select the setting you wish to change, enter a new value for the setting and press save. When you are done making changes, press apply to enter the beacon's password and restart the beacon with your settings.

Permissions are for:

- Bluetooth: scanning and detection

- Location: required by Android to perform a Bluetooth scan (currently, at least)
