Beacons are small, bluetooth devices that enable you to receive promotions, messages and information directly to your smartphone. Beacons interact with BeaconNear to send notifications, coupons, videos or other forms of media that are relevant to you. For example, a beacon might be placed at the entrance of a live music event, with BeaconNear, when you come within the beacon’s range you receive the complete lineup and set times, or a surprise back stage pass – right to your smartphone!
