About Bestrane App Connect

Provides printing and credit card payments to Descartes Mobile.

Bestrane App Connect is a companion app for Descartes Mobile. Bestrane App Connect extends the capabilities of Mobile to currently include:

* Printing - Zebra and Honeywell bluetooth printers

* Credit Card Payments - Fat Zebra payments gateway

* Lquip and Alpeco/SAMPI truck meter reading

Bestrane App Connect works as a background service, and is activated by specified events in Descartes Mobile, such as arrived to stop, or completed stop. The Bestrane App Connect user interface can be activated if a re-print is required, or to connect to external hardware such as a bluetooth printer.

Future versions will provide capabilities to interact with external web services and other external hardware.

Bestrane App Connect (BAC) has had significant enhancements:

* Glympse Enroute SDK is embedded. BAC will log into Glympse as the driver who logged into MobileLINK. This will allow Live View of driver location when the vehicle in Enroute to the customer.

* Interaction with Lquip Gas Meter app providing truck meter reading in BAC, to include volume pumped in printed delivery dockets, and send to Descartes wGLN as field data for inclusion in backend ERP billing activities.
