Better Quarry Mod

A quarry is an open-pit mine from where you can extract ores and other things which are found in the depths underground.

The mod adds the functionalities necessary to make and manage a quarry. It’s the perfect automated system for anyone who want with ease to extract diamonds, gold and other ores in the most effecient way possible.

Block IDs & Crafting Recipes

Quarry Block (215) – 2 redstone dusts + 1 gold ingot + 3 iron ingots + 1 diamond pickaxe

How to setup a quarry?

Begin by crafting a Quarry Block (2 redstone dusts, 1 gold ingot, 3 iron ingots, 1 diamond pickaxe).

Find a flat area and place down the Quarry Block. The fenced quarry with the drill in the center will automatically be created at the desired location.

Place a single/double chest on top of the Quarry Block to have the mined items organized in the chest. It’s optional but highly recommended as otherwise the mined items will spawn on top of the Quarry Block out in the open.

Face the quarry and tap on the Quarry Block with any kind of pickaxe to activate the drill. Every 16th second one layer of blocks will be mined while it’s activated.

Only valuable ores will be given to you. Dirt and stone will be scrapped automatically.

To disable the drill tap on the Quarry Block with any kind of pickaxe.
