Microphone — When you record a voice journal entry, the app uses on-device speech recognition to turn your words into text. Audio never leaves your device.

Notifications — Sends your daily journaling reminders. These are scheduled entirely on your device — no external server is involved.

Full network access — Used to sign in to your account, sync encrypted backups to the cloud, and process PRO purchases. The app works fully offline — internet is only used when you choose to back up or sign in.

View network connections — Checks whether you are online or offline so the app can switch smoothly between local-only mode and cloud sync.

Change your audio settings — When you record a voice entry, the app temporarily pauses other audio (like music) so speech recognition can hear you clearly. It resumes everything when you stop recording.
