Aristotle (384-322 BC) was an Ancient Greek philosopher and polymath. His works cover a wide scope of subjects including physics, biology, zoology, metaphysics, logic, ethics, style, poetry, drama, music, rhetoric, psychology, linguistics, economics, politics, meteorology, geology, and government. As the organizer behind the Peripatetic school of philosophy in the Lyceum in Athens, he started the more extensive Aristotelian custom that followed, which set the foundation for the improvement of present day science.
