Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, or simply Botafogo, is a Brazilian multi-sport association, based in the neighborhood of the same name as the club, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Born from the merger of Club de Regatas Botafogo with Botafogo Football Club, it is one of the main clubs in Brazil.
