About camera and microphone access

Brightside requests camera and microphone access for live video sessions with your provider. Access begins when you join a session and ends when the session does.

Your session keeps running if you leave the app mid-appointment—to check an email or pull up a document, for example. Audio stays connected so you and your provider can keep talking, and your video pauses until you come back. While a session is live, you’ll see a Brightside notification you can tap to return to it.
