Educational functions

Myocardial Code aimed at people with chest pain could be having an acute heart attack, clinical situation where seconds count and it is urgent to get to the right hospital for a medical evaluation. Usually the stroke is caused by a clot that blocks an artery of the heart. Lack of circulation causes damage to the heart muscle fed by the blocked coronary artery. The crucial goal of treatment is to remove the obstruction, to what is called reperfusion.

Reperfusion with drugs known as fibrinolysis is more effective if done in the first 30 minutes after the arrival of the patient to the hospital.

Reperfusion by cardiac catheterization and stent implantation in the first 90 minutes of arrival at hospital is known as primary angioplasty and is considered ideal for heart infarction therapy.

In an emergency for chest pain, myocardial Code allows users to find accredited by the Society of Interventional Cardiology of Mexico (SOCIME) hospitals, for catheterization and primary angioplasty.

Later hospitals that do not have cardiac catheterization room but have efficient drug programs will be added fibrinolysis.

Code Infarction in the future be available in other countries where cardiology societies request.

Myocardial code to activate a map showing the route to the nearest hospital appear. If the user wishes, you can choose another hospital. The application shall notify the ambulance service available to seek care.

File functions

Myocardial code enables the user to store their personal data and designate contacts for notification in case of emergency. Allows medical information stored on your device, with sections for cardiovascular risk factors, history of cardiovascular disease and medical conditions that increase the risk of bleeding in case you need anticoagulants for the treatment of a heart attack. Risk factors are highlighted in green when they are absent and red when they are present in order for the user to know the elements that should be amended.

You can also save and update your lab, basic measures vital signs, weight and height, medications prescribed, and drug allergies.

All this information is stored in the device memory.

Myocardial code does not have access to any personal information nor to their medical records, so your privacy is guaranteed.

The application sent periodically to remind users to update their medical records notices.

The user can share with your doctor a summary of clinical records showing it on screen or just emailing.
