Why was Spanish Horses - images of fine horses created?

For the simple reason that the horse is (from my particular point of view) the most beautiful beast that God has created. Its adaptation and domestication to man has allowed it to be the animal that has contributed the most to the development of human civilizations throughout history.

It is easy to imagine the importance of this animal in our lives if you think of all the armies that have used it as an ally in their efforts to conquer, dominate or contain invading enemies. Or as an ally in our efforts to produce our food.

He has also been a docile ally in our mistakes. The use of horses was the element that allowed buffalo hunters in the 18th and 19th centuries to lead these beasts to near extinction in the vast grasslands encountered by North American settlers. The same was the imposing figure that overwhelmed the indigenous people of Mesoamerica and made them believe that Europeans were gods. When they reacted to this fallacy, it was too late the white man with his weapons and horses, as well as his diseases and greed, had already conquered them and led to slavery and the extinction of their great civilizations (Mayan, Aztec, Inca, etc. .)

Equal or greater was their influence on the transport of arms, families, supplies of supply in the conquest and colonization of all the Americas, just as it had been in Europe and Asia centuries before the appearance of the machines that replaced them a few decades later.
