This is a book entitled Light of Darkness, which is a translation of the book Nur adz-Dzolam by Syeh Nawawi al-Banteni, a book of sharah from the book Aqidatu al-Awam which explains the creeds that must be known for every Muslim, baligh, Muslim, Muslim, , and sensible, by Syeh Ahmad Marzuki. May Allah have mercy on them and benefit us with their blessings.

Some of the female students, may Allah forgive them, who were studying at the Takhossus Islamic Boarding School to memorize the Koran asked us to translate the book Aqidatu al-Awam along with its explanations.

Finally, we chose one of the works of Indonesian scholars, namely Syeh Nawawi al-Banteni, entitled Nur ad-Dzolam to be translated as a response to the student's request, even though we are not experts in this field of translation.

Only to Allah, I ask to make this translation of The Light of Darkness a truly sincere practice because of His Exalted Essence through the status and truth of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and to make it useful for the female students and all Muslims. who study it with comprehensive benefits as the benefits given by Him in the books of Nur adz-Dzolam and Aqidatu al-Awam.

We reward the translation of this book to our teachers, our parents, our brothers and sisters, the female students, the Ittihadul Asna students, and all Muslims and Muslim women.

Finally, we ask Allah that He will forgive and forgive our mistakes in the translation of this book, both in terms of understanding and preparation. There are no mistakes or mistakes unless the hope is to be forgiven and pardoned.

Therefore, we ask anyone who reads this book to cover and correct our errors and omissions found in this book. Rahimakumullah wa jazaakum ahsanal jazaa.
