Hero3® looses date and Time, when battery is removed. I have 2 batteries and second half of my trip were always signed as 2002.

OK, there are many GoPro® remote applications, But I should launch, connect, then set time. With my application there is One tap only- its connects, power on, change time and power off. Extremely useful in outdoor, when there is no time to play with phone. The only things i must do - stop bicycle, launch app, replace battery, switch on camera WiFi and ride. After sound notification I turn off camera wifi and start recording. Unfortunately, it is impossible remote turn off camera wifi.

OK, You can attach power bank during battery replacing, but who gets power bank to half-day journey?
