Caribbean Stud - Poker Style Card Game

Caribbean Stud is an easy to learn and fun to play poker style card game. Like many other poker style table games, Caribbean Stud is a house banked game. This means the player is only playing against the house, not against other players. The skill is knowing when to raise and when to fold.

Gameplay

The game bank amount starts at 1000, but can be set to any amount. When the bank goes to 0, it automatically resets back to the full amount. There is no cool-down period, so the game, and the fun, never ends.

The bet amount is adjustable, then the game starts by pressing the deal button. The player places a single bet, and receives five cards. The dealer also receives five cards, one face up and four face down.

Once the cards are dealt, the player must raise or fold. If the player folds, the original bet is lost. To raise, the player raises the bet by the same value as the original wager.

The dealer qualifies to play with an ace and a king, or higher, in hand. If the dealer does not qualify, the player wins even money on the original bet, and the raise pushes.

If the dealer qualifies, the face down cards are revealed and the dealer and player hands are compared. If the dealer has the better hand, the player lose all wagers. If the player has the better hand, the original bet pays even money, and the raise pays based on the players hand, as in poker.
