EMWATCH services for post discharged patients

EMWatch™ is an innovative service introduced by the Emergency and Trauma Department of Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Sungai Buloh. It is an emergency tele-consultation services that provides continuity of medical treatment after being discharged so that patients can do self-monitoring at home; with the guidance of emergency medicine doctors. This service is powered by cHEART to monitor and provide consultation for post-discharged patients at these two hospitals. Patients don’t have to go to hospital for their follow up consultations, making it easier for the elderly and those still recovering.

Remote monitoring and consultation

Another great feature of cHEART is its ability to do remote monitoring and consultation. This means that patients can consult with their doctors from the comfort of their own homes.

In addition, they can share their health information and vitals with their doctors for consultation. Doctors also can share documents such lab test, prescription, referral letters with their patients.

This feature is especially useful for patients who live in remote areas or have mobility issues.

Continuous care and treatment

cHEART is useful especially for NCD (non-communicable disease) patients such as those with high blood pressures, diabetics etc to monitor their health conditions and get consultation with their doctors online.
