CMI

CMI is an application with the main objective of serving as an aid to increase communication skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

CMI is aimed at children diagnosed with ASD older than five years. It is recommended to use it accompanied by a family member to encourage teamwork and stimulate social and communication skills.

CMI is based on PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), a technique created by Andy Bondy and Lori Frost. Therefore, it allows the infant to develop communication based on six levels. In addition, it allows you to add and edit images to enrich the context of its use. Likewise, it can be used by people who do not have ASD but have difficulties in communicating.

CMI has a database of 200 images extracted from the ARASAAC portal which is under CC License (BY-NC-SA)
