Research Radar

You have a list of topics you care about — perovskite solar cell efficiency, OpenAI rumors, central bank policy, a competitor's product launches. Getting a current read on any of them means opening four tabs, scrolling past noise, and still wondering what you missed on X.

Research Radar does the reading for you, on a schedule you set.

WHAT YOU GET

AI Research Summary

Perplexity Sonar searches the live web and synthesizes a short briefing for your topic:

• Fresh results — not cached, not last week's headlines

• Inline citations — every claim links to its source

• Scheduled delivery: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly

• On-demand update anytime, with a tap

X Post Summary

xAI Grok scans what people are actually saying on X right now:

• Real-time social pulse, not news-wire aggregation

• Useful for topics where the discussion moves faster than the articles

• Runs in parallel with the research summary, in the same update

Push Notifications

When a summary is ready, a notification arrives with a preview sentence:

• Tap to open the full summary directly

• No badge counts, no inbox — just the topics you defined

Sync

Sign in with your Google account so your topics, summaries, and credit balance follow you across devices and survive a reinstall.

PROACTIVE, NOT REACTIVE

Perplexity, ChatGPT, and most AI search tools are reactive — you ask, they answer. Research Radar is proactive. You define your topics once, set a cadence, and summaries arrive without you asking. The difference matters if you follow a dozen niche topics and don't want to remember to check each one.

Google Alerts emails you raw links. Research Radar gives you a synthesized read in the app, with citations.

Feedly aggregates other people's articles. Research Radar generates fresh summaries that didn't exist before your update ran.

NO SUBSCRIPTION

Most AI tools charge $10–20/month whether you use them or not. Research Radar uses pay-as-you-go credits that never expire. A typical topic update costs about 1,000 credits — roughly $0.10 at the Starter rate.

PRICING

• Free to download — buy credits when you're ready

• Starter: $2.99 — 10,000 credits (about 10 full topic updates)

• Value: $5.99 — 22,000 credits (+24% vs. Starter)

• Power: $9.99 — 40,000 credits (+34% vs. Starter)

Credits never expire. No auto-renewal, no subscription. Buy what you need, when you need it.

A Google account is required to sign in and to keep your credit balance in sync. The app sends your topics and search queries to our server, which generates summaries via Perplexity Sonar and xAI Grok. See the privacy policy for details.
