Every SIM has its own card showing whether it is protecting, blocking all calls or in quiet hours. Block all calls on one SIM for an hour, until morning or until you stop it, without touching your rules. Numbers on your Always allow list still ring through. Your recent blocks and a weekly count are right below.

QUIET HOURS

Block every call during set times, such as work hours, nights or weekends, or pick your own days and times. Windows can run past midnight. Numbers on your Always allow list still ring through. Set a window for one SIM or both.

RULES THAT APPLY EVERYWHERE

- Always block: numbers that never get through

- Always allow: numbers that always ring, even during quiet hours or when you block unknown callers

- Countries: block the countries you list, or only accept calls from the countries you list

- Unknown callers: block hidden and private numbers, per SIM

- Your phone's own blocked list: optional, where Android allows it

Calls that arrive without a country code are matched using the country of the SIM they were received on. Each number and country can apply to both SIMs or to one. Every number needs its country code, which you type or pick from a searchable list. Tap any row to edit it. Search, select and delete with a confirmation and Undo.

CLEAR, PREDICTABLE ORDER

Every call is checked in the same order, and the first match decides: Always allow, block all calls, quiet hours, your rules, otherwise allowed. You never have to guess which rule won. The info button on Home explains the order, and Test a number lists every rule that matches a number and which one decided, before it ever calls.

HISTORY

See every blocked call with the contact name if you know them, the number, the country, the SIM and the time, as a daily or monthly chart and a list. Search by name, number or country. Tap a blocked call to allow the number or block it for good, with Undo. Export the list as CSV.

SAME OPERATOR ON BOTH SIMS?

SIMs are labelled by slot, operator and the last digits of the number when available, so SIM 1 and SIM 2 are never confused, even when both come from the same carrier.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account, no ads, no analytics. Your lists and call history stay on your phone. Back them up to a file in Downloads and restore them after a reinstall. SimShield uses Android's call screening, so you choose it as your call screening app the first time you open it.

SimShield is free for 3 days. After the trial, blocking pauses and every call rings until you unlock the app with a one-time in-app purchase. Your lists and history are kept. Reinstalling or changing phones restores the purchase from your Google account.
