Coffeecam

For baristas and other connoisseurs of coffee latte art.

This Twitter utility app is designed to be used with an Android device mounted in the separately supplied table stand, or user supplied stand. It is configured to be run on the device in upside down screen orientation for table stand use.

It uses computer vision object detection to recognize when a coffee cup is placed under the Android device and visible in the camera viewfinder. When the coffee is detected it will start a countdown that will complete and then a picture of the coffee cup will be taken and tweeted from the user's twitter account.

You can set a custom tweet text message or use the provided default message.

Touch anywhere on the main camera screen to get the settings screen, where you can select to turn on the live tweeting by setting it to active. If nothing is selected a timer will return you back to the main screen.

A safety delay can be adjusted, this will change the delay time between the last object detected and when the object detection is started again. Useful when multiple coffee art pictures are tweeted.
