How to be a good student, I used to have big problems to motivate myself to study when I was in my first and second year of college. We can't find your exact location. For many young people who go to college, studying is the last thing on their minds, I guess that's the problem. It was for me anyway. It reached the point where a drastic change was needed or eventually they would kick me out of school and I would be ashamed to face my parents after everything was over and over.

Luckily that never happened and I graduated unharmed and with a respectable GPA. As I did? Well, it was a combination of self-displacement and some other things to help me along with the process. First and foremost, I had to decide that it was enough and that I was really going to study. A set start date and I prepared for it. Second, I made some rules to guide me through the whole process, rules that fit the way I liked to study.

For example, I discarded some house music tracks and studied in one-hour sessions while listening to them. I discovered that music really helped me to motivate myself, it also prevented me from wandering in dreams that often happened before. Another thing that really helped me was to change where I studied a few hours. I discovered that the change of environment helped me recover the energy I had when I started studying during that day, a coffee or the library is great for this.

I hope someone who wants to improve how they study can get some inspiration from this and make the positive change I managed to make.
