CONECTA SABANA @ emerges as a business collaboration project between the companies EMPRESAS DE TRANSPORTE and SISTEMA DE TRANSPORTE SA, hereinafter the STS, aimed at the implementation, operation and administration of a new system that guarantees a better provision of the intermunicipal transport service of passengers on the routes of the Sabana de Bogotá, creating a safe, comfortable and fair mobility experience, in addition to generating well-being conditions for drivers who operate vehicles linked to the system.

For the proper execution of the project, it has been defined that CONECTA SABANA @ will have among others the following:

2.1. Carry out the planning and operation of the vehicles linked to the system, for which it will coordinate the offices of the intermunicipal transport companies that serve the defined route.

2.2. Operate the integrated collection system, by selling tickets to users.

2.3. Generate conditions that guarantee the productivity of the fleet of vehicles linked to the system, for which you can establish and develop strategies to enhance the use of the system.

2.4 Perform the necessary maintenance to the installed equipment.

2.5 Deliver to the drivers of the linked vehicles, the necessary supplies for the proper operation (operator cards, orange card, or cash payment for occasional users and managed by the driver and cash base) previously defined by the companies; Once these materials are delivered, the driver will be solely responsible for their integrity and conservation. The benefits of Conecta Sabana for users who use the service are focused on having a more comfortable, safe and fair service.

With the use of the user card it can be customized to provide other benefits in addition to the above mentioned as are:

• That there are no intermediaries in the collection of tickets, That they can better manage their monthly financial budget by recharging the cards with the tickets that they really require,

• That the fair rate be charged according to the destination origin to which they are traveling,

• That they can recharge the prepaid card with the values ​​they need either daily, weekly, monthly.

• The system lends you the total value of the ticket or the missing one when the balance is greater than zero.

• That you can use the card in vehicles on any of the routes where the collection system exists.

• Obtain benefits in agreements with the municipalities on rates for students, seniors or people with disabilities.

• Provide the user with a mixed payment system either in cash or with a prepaid card.
