CORTRAN – serving Roanoke County residents.

The CORTRAN app provides a pre-booked transportation service for people in Roanoke County, providing easy, affordable, and efficient travel when you need it, where you need it. It’s a shared service, where you may be travelling with other passengers along the way. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible.

How it works:

Book a ride on your phone.

Get picked up at your location.

Share your ride with others.

How much does it cost?

CORTRAN passengers ride for $5 flat per ride.

How many passengers will I share a vehicle with?

The number of passengers you will share a journey with varies based on vehicle capacity and your chosen destination.

Safety precautions

To increase the amount of separation between people on board the vehicle we are:

- Reducing capacity to ensure space between riders

- Installing a physical partition between the driver cabin and the passenger seating area

- Reminding riders to use the automatic door feature to avoid touching handles

All vehicles are equipped with PPE and disinfectant wipes to be used in between rides. Vehicles’ interiors are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.
