CPO is an ophthalmology clinic on an outpatient basis in Lisbon, on Avenida da Liberdade, considered a prime location with easy access. Founded in 2007, it dates back to 1995, the date when the founding doctor, Dr. João Pinheiro, opened the first ophthalmology clinic in an outpatient clinic in Portugal in the specialty.

It has a staff of highly qualified professionals from the clinical staff, technical and administrative team. Long-term partnerships with internationally renowned manufacturers of medical equipment that provide the clinic with lasers, surgical materials and state-of-the-art diagnostics allowing CPO to offer premium treatment to all its patients.

The facilities have 3 consultation offices, 1 exam rooms, 1 screening room and Operating Room with 2 operating rooms and 1 recovery room.

It provides healthcare to individuals and beneficiaries of more than 20 agreements with insurers such as Advancare, Multicare, Médis and workers of large companies such as CTT and Altice.

It exhibits extensive experience in the specialty with a history that speaks for itself, having made more than 200,000 consultations and diagnostic tests and 10,000 interventions in the operating room such as Refractive Surgery with LASIK or Lens Implant, Cataract Surgery in Phaco Emulsification with Laser Femtosecond.
