With Crisis Companion, you can quickly alert friends, family, nearby users, or emergency services, even if you can't physically access your device.

Features include:

SMS Alerts: The app automatically sends SMS messages (via our GSM server) to your emergency contacts, letting them know you're in distress. The message includes your location and battery level. When alerts are disabled, a final SMS is sent to all emergency contacts, notifying them that you have turned off the alerts and no longer require assistance.

Nearby Assistant: This feature locates and sends notifications to other nearby Crisis Companion users, informing them of your distress. The message will include your location and battery level.

Hazard Map: Our hazard map allows users to report hazards, which are then highlighted for others. A hazard is also created when a user activates any kind of alert.

Fake Call: Need a quick escape? Use our fake call feature to notify trusted contacts that you need an excuse to leave a situation. If you can't physically access your device, a pre-set voice command can trigger an emergency alert.

Impact Alerts: Our impact detection feature includes various alert types. For example, if your device experiences a sudden impact, a notification will appear on-screen, giving you time to disable the alerts. If not disabled within the timeframe you've set, the app will continue sending alerts to your emergency contacts. If your screen is damaged, we’ve set up button commands to enable or disable all alerts.

Audio/Video Recording: When any type of alert is triggered, audio and video recording (where permission is granted) will automatically start and be stored on our secure server for later access, should you need it.

Button Combinations: Our button combinations allow users to turn Crisis Companion on/off and enable or disable alerts.
