How do I do it?, very simple.

Choose the photo or drawing you want to cross-stitch, trace the design on a sheet of graph paper. Complete the pattern by filling in the grid to indicate the location and type of the stitch and the color of the thread.

Which fabric to use?

The cross-stitch embroidery cloth is called canvas. The canvas is a cotton or linen fabric, whose threads form perfect squares and ideal for this type of embroidery.

How to make the basic stitch?

We prick the needle in the fabric from the back to the front in hole 2

We puncture hole 3 again from the back to the front.

We end up clicking in the 4th hole forming a cross with the thread.

How do you do the midpoint?

For example for borders and letters

This point is used as a shading, to give a sense of depth to the cross stitch design. To make a single stitch, bring the needle up from the back of the fabric to 1 and lower it to 2. Bring it up to 3 and lower it to 4. Finish the row.
