Cyface

The Cyface app is used to record and transmit smartphone sensor data. The data of the GPS sensor and the acceleration sensors are recorded. This data is transferred to a Cyface server. There, the data is automatically evaluated to determine road conditions.

Use:

For the measurement, the mobile phone should be attached to a mobile phone holder. Before driving, the measurement is started by clicking on the play button. The device position should not be changed during measurement. At the end of the ride, the measurement is stopped by clicking on the stop button.

As soon as the mobile phone is connected to the WiFi, the measurement data will be transferred to a Cyface server.
