Dogs and Cats of the Dominican Republic is a non-profit, all volunteer organization, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of needy animals in the Dominican Republic.

Our mission includes:

- Providing free spay/neuter clinics with vaccinations to animals in need

- Providing emergency medical treatment through local vets for street animals or animals whose owners cannot afford to pay for this kind of care

- Providing monthly parasite medicines to over 2,000 animals every month along the north coast of the Dominican Republic .

- Providing foster care for homeless animals and then finding new homes for them in the D.R., the U.S., and Canada

- Providing food for animals in emergency situations

- Educating the Dominican and Haitian population on the proper care of their animals.
