DeepSkin provides a tool for skin analysis and aid in the early detection of skin cancers by combining digital healthcare with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies.

DeepSkin provides an immediate risk indicator for the most common types of skin lesions such as melanomas, simply by taking a photo from your smartphone.

It is an intelligent dermatological platform for medical professionals.

Each image is analyzed by a neural network trained on over 25 thousand dermoscopic images of cases passed to histological examinations. DeepSkin provides its decision with a level of confidence by imitating the expert's visual observation.

DeepSkin transfers facial recognition techniques to skin diseases. A unique fingerprint is extracted from the spot under analysis, in order to identify the most similar cases from the 25 thousand images of already known cases. This allows to be more precise in the diagnosis with historical cases.

The service offered by DeepSkin is not intended to replace traditional methods of assessing the level of risk of skin lesions. It does not represent a diagnosis and does not replace a visit to a professional dermatologist, but it represents a means of support for the doctor and an aid in increasing early screening.

SECURE ACCESS

Access to the app is managed by modern authentication technologies that use reliable protocols that allow you to manage the various user profiles in total safety. DeepSkin was made with a careful respect for privacy. Images, reports and

patient information is all encrypted with robust algorithms and is available only to patients or their dermatologists.

PATIENT SCHEDULING

Through DeepSkin every doctor has the possibility to consult the list of his patients with all the clinical cases connected to them. Each clinical case contains a spot timeline that can be monitored over time. For each clinical case there are all the acquisitions that can be analyzed with the proprietary artificial intelligence engine. The 5 images most similar to the one being analyzed can be recovered.

INSTANT CHECK

DeepSkin provides quick verification of the mole, without having to enter any other data. DeepSkin opens the camera of the smartphone or an image in local memory to interrogate the artificial intelligence engine that simultaneously provides the following results:

● Is it melanoma or not? and respective confidence levels.

● A result on 8 types of moles and their confidence levels

● The five similar cases in the database.

Subsequently it is possible to register the patient and insert other data such as: symptoms, duration and position on the 3D model. At the end of the process you will be redirected to the newly created clinical case page.

SECOND OPINION

DeepSkin allows you to start a collaboration phase with one or more registered doctors, in order to receive a second opinion. The invited doctor will have access to the case under examination and a chatroom can be started in which the other participants will be able to view all the images of the selected case and then express their opinion.

3D MODEL

When acquiring a lesion, DeepSkin offers the possibility of locating it on a 3D body. A simple touch is enough to place the spot on the 3D model. The next step is to enter other information such as symptoms. Finally you can take the photo.
