JUST FIXED:
- playback quality now at 16KHz sampling rate: now it's good enough for government work!
- made the interface less prone to 'accidents'
- quicker startup
- turned it *green* like a salad

KNOWN BUGS:
- still some static in places there shouldn't be

KNOWN ISSUES:
- changing the slider position doesn't always affect the sound immediately; typically it affects the next repetition of the sound; we're working on that!
