About DocRecall
Search your PDFs, docs, and notes by meaning — on-device, nothing uploaded.
"How much was the deposit in that contract again?"
"Where was that in the lecture notes… I know I saved it."
DocRecall pulls an entire folder onto your phone and lets you search your
PDF, Word, Hangul, and text documents by meaning — fully on-device. Nothing
is uploaded to the cloud; everything is processed on your device.
■ Who it's for
· Anyone who often hunts for "where did I see that" details across contracts, records, or class materials
· People who'd rather not upload documents to the cloud
· Anyone who wants to search information scattered across many documents at once
■ Key features
· Folder import — pick a folder and bring in its PDF, Word (docx), Hangul (hwpx), and text files at once
· Search by meaning — finds related content even when the wording differs
· Folder change detection — drop new documents in the folder, reopen the app, and it offers to add them
· Word search — available the moment you import
· KakaoTalk exports too — chat .txt files come in the same way
· Copy & share — copy a result or share it to another app
■ Privacy first
· All documents and search stay on your device. Unlike cloud document search, nothing ever leaves your phone.
· No account, no login. Banner ads keep the app free.
· The internet is used only once, to download the semantic-search model (~102MB or 266MB, optional).
■ Notes
· Initial support covers text-based PDF, docx, hwpx, and txt. Scanned (image) PDFs are planned for a later release.
· Requires a 64-bit (arm64) device.
Your documents, on your phone. DocRecall.
