Dumpy

This app is developed and maintained by the Institute of System Security, TU Braunschweig, Germany.

We are currently investigating the security of file-based encryption, among other things, as introduced with Android 7. Dumpy enables you to support our research with your data.

We collect metadata from external storage. External storage is where apps store public data. Metadata includes all file system information except file contents, e.g. we can see that your files are there but we can not look inside.
