PodPop for AirPods helps you quickly check AirPods battery and connection status on Android.

When AirPods are connected to your Android phone, you can use battery levels, connection popups, Find AirPods, auto play, and pause more conveniently. It is designed for Android environments where AirPods information does not appear as naturally as it does on iPhone.

How it works

PodPop for AirPods displays status based on Bluetooth signals from AirPods and some compatible Beats devices, together with Android system information. Available information may vary by AirPods model, Android version, phone manufacturer behavior, and permission status.

Find AirPods is not map location tracking or precise directional navigation. It is a helper feature that uses changes in nearby Bluetooth signals to estimate whether you are getting closer. Signal strength can change depending on walls, people, bags, metal objects, and phone direction.

Permissions

• Nearby devices: used to detect nearby AirPods and check Bluetooth status.

• Location: may be required by the system for BLE scanning on Android 11 and below.

• Notifications: used for connection popups, status alerts, and monitoring notifications.

• Display over other apps: used for instant connection popups.

Privacy

AirPods status checks and app settings are mainly processed on your device. The current version does not send detected AirPods status data to a server. Please see the privacy policy for details.

This app does not provide Find My, iCloud integration, AirPods firmware updates, or Apple-device-level system integration.
